War LIterature
This unit studies American involvement in war through literature depicting wars, soldier's feelings toward war, our own feelings toward democracy, and a few looks into the current state of war following 9/11/2001. This unit's final project is a Voices of Democracy essay which may be submitted to the local VFW Chapter for a chance at cash prizes.
